Lockeport and Area Volunteer Opportunities

Shelburne County Women’s Fishnet

Board Member – A board member at Fishnet works as a part of a team to manage Fishnet offices and programs and to create new ways of offering services to residents and visitors of Lockeport and Area.

Support Worker – A support worker would offer a presence at one of its programs or events.  Their role could be to assist Fishnet board members, run programs, or to assist people who use Fishnet’s services.  Volunteer commitment would be tailored to each volunteer. A person could be involved once a year (for example at the Caring and Sharing Day) or for a few hours each week.
